Moby"Next Is The E"CD Single9.5
This disc was not at all what I'd expected. Having heard this song on self-titled release and the Cool World soundtrack, the last thing I expected was a speedy piano riff and more female vocals. That said, it's a great song, although it bears little resemblance to the original. The "Victory" mix is darker & speedier. The "I Feel It" mix is much more anthemic, with it's happy air about it (the edit version is an edit of this mix). The "Synthe" mix is okay, but it took me some time to appreciate it, having it sandwiched in between two hyperactive mixes. Finally, there's the b-side: "Thousand", aptly named as it reaches speeds of 1,000 BPM. Incredibly intense. A final side note, the piano riff used in the "I Feel It" mix originally saw the light of day in the song "UHF" (not the b-side of "Drop A Beat", that's "UHF 2"). Sadly, this one is also out of print, but worth the buy.
